A MOTORCYCLE was completely destroyed by a blaze in the early hours of this morning, which firefighters say is suspicious.

One crew from Cosham was called to the grass area at the bottom of Jervis Road, Stamshaw, at 2am today.

A motorcycle was on fire and was already so damaged, that the make and model of the bike could not be identified.

Firefighters were at the scene for an hour and believe the cause of the fire to be suspicious.

Details have been passed on to Hampshire Constabulary for further investigation.

No one was injured.
