A MOTHER was locked out of her home while her child was in the bath.

One crew from Cosham fire station were called to Hillsley Road, Paulsgrove, yesterday afternoon.

A woman had locked herself out of her home when she went to put out rubbish, firefighters said.

Her child had been in the bath at the time.

They managed to unlock the front door and let the woman in.

The incident happened at 3.50pm and crews were at the home for about 40 minutes. No one was injured.
