Music and history is combined at concert

Portsmouth Music Club is hosting an evening of theatre and music providing a unique insight into London life in the 17th century.

An Evening With Mr Pepys will be a mix of classical music and history performed by The Eisenach Ensemble at Portsmouth Grammar School on April 9.

Mr Pepys was a passionate musician. He composed, sang and played the lute, theorbo, violin and keyboard.

Tickets are £8 for visitors, £7 for members and under-16s go free.
