Film fans can look forward to a new cinematic experience outdoors next month.

Film on a Farm is bringing cinema to two farms in the South Downs on the evenings of September 11 and 12.

Manor Farm in Droxford and Holden Farm in Cheriton will host an evening of entertainment.

The idea was created by friends Chris Horn and Rebecca Corbett, who are the next generation of Hampshire farmers who share a love of film and the great outdoors.

Robin Hood Prince of Thieves will show at Holden Farm on September 11 at 9pm and then to celebrate the start of the rugby World Cup, the epic Invictus will be shown at Manor Farm, Droxford, on September 12.

Rebecca said: ‘We will offer the audience an insight into an exceptional physical space, a world-class heritage destination, but most importantly, a thoroughly enjoyable night out at the movies.’

There will be a barbecue, popcorn and a fully-licensed bar.

Gates open at 7pm and tickets are £15 and can be bought at filmonafarm.co.uk.
