AN ARTIST has launched his new exhibition in Gosport.

Colin Baxter’s work is on display at Driftwood Studio and Gallery, Royal Clarence Yard, Weevil Lane, Gosport.

Among the hundreds of works, one commemorates the centenary of the great fire in the dockyard in December 1913.

The Semaphore Tower burnt down with the death of two night watchmen.

Colin’s painting depicts the view across the harbour from the Gosport side.

The exhibition is on until Sunday, from 10am to 5pm.
