New play by amateur theatre society

ANTICIPATION is building for the next production by Horndean Amateur Theatrical Society.

The society will be performing RolePlay, a comedy by Alan Ayckbourn.

The play focuses on Justin and Julie-Ann, a couple sharing a London Docklands apartment.

They have invited their respective parents for dinner so that they can announce their engagement.

However their carefully-planned evening is interrupted when an upstairs neighbour drops in and events take an unexpected turn.

The performances will take place on Wednesday, July 1, Thursday, July 2, and Friday, July 3.

Merchistoun Hall, Portsmouth Road, Horndean is the venue for the performances which will start at 7.30pm.

Tickets will be £6 and are available on the door.
