AN ANNUAL garden fair will raise cash for St John Ambulance.

The Bishop’s Waltham Garden Fair will take place on Sunday, May 6 at Wintershill Hall. It has been moved to a new location because of its popularity.

Organiser Joan Ferrer said: ‘We were absolutely delighted when Jamie and Carolyn Balfour offered us their beautiful gardens at Wintershill Hall in Durley for the event.

‘We are grateful to them for helping us grow the Garden Fair, as it is always a popular event that helps to raise vital funds to help everyone at St John Ambulance carry out our work.’

It will take place between 10am and 4pm and will cost £4 on entry, with all children under 14 going free. There will be a birds of prey demonstration, homemade refreshments and a hog roast, plus more than 60 specialist stalls.
