NHS talks set to assess best way forward for Emsworth hospital siteÂ

BRANCHES of the NHS have vowed to join forces to assess the potential of a controversial former hospital site.

The Emsworth Victoria Cottage Hospital was taken off the market by NHS Property Services last month following backlash from town campaigners after it was put up for sale.

Now, medical professionals are reconsidering the site's future options '“ after their decision to declare it '˜surplus to need' was reversed.

The CCG said topics to be addressed will include ownership and funding models, including public funding.
