MATTHEW Webb lost his grandad to a heart attack.
And he has since known other friends and family who have suffered from strokes and heart attacks due to high blood pressure.
So the 26-year-old decided to have his chest waxed to raise money for the Blood Pressure Association.
Matthew, from Mountbatten Close in Gosport, said: ‘It was spoken about between a few friends a while ago.
‘I thought it was a good charity to raise money for.
‘It was something I wanted to do.
‘I’m not going to lie – it was a little bit painful. There was a bit of wincing and holding on to the chair.
‘It’s still a little bit sore and itchy now.
‘I was quite apprehensive and didn’t know what to expect.
‘But I am glad I have done it and raised money for the charity.’
So far, Matthew has raised around £370.
