CHURCH bells will ring out tomorrow to celebrate the start of the Olympic Games.

At 8.12am peals are set to sound from Portsmouth Anglican Cathedral, St Peter in Soberton, All Saints in Catherington, St Peter and St Paul in Hambeldon and St John the Baptist in Shedfield.

St Mary’s Church in Alverstoke will also take part, but instead it will ring its bells in the evening.

Once the Olympics start, there will also be a variety of other activities.
