A MAN who wants to improve life for retired men in Gosport is calling a public meeting to discuss his plans for a communal shed.

Martin Corrick, 68, of Gordon Road in Gosport wants to form a committee to set up a large shed for retired men.

He claims data shows that if you live in Hampshire you are likely to have an early death but can tackle this by keeping active.

Mr Corrick is inviting people to the open meeting to talk about the Gosport Shed on May 17 from 11am to 1pm, at the Masonic Hall in Clarence Road.
