I was interested to read a report that said women were choosing bigger bikinis (higher-waisted) or full swimsuits, while men were buying smaller and smaller swim pants – similar to those worn by Daniel Craig as James Bond and, more recently, by David Beckham.
Brilliant. I will be more than happy to lie on the beach and enjoy checking out all the bods that reveal themselves – as long as they look like celebs.
But guess what? Most of the male population don’t have the figure to pull them off – much like most of the female population don’t have the figure to get away with string-thin bikinis.
Does this mean that men are about to enter a period of body complexes, just like the ones that women have tried to master for the past 20 years?
