Comforted to know we still have such lovely green belt

ZELLA COMPTON: Looking afresh at our beautiful spot in the world

Have your say

Moving house seems to be my main focus at the moment, not just for myself but also for my horse, Aslan, as he has moved to pastures new.

I’ve now installed him in his own penthouse bachelor pad on Fontley Hill with fellow equines called Star and Blue.

The scenery, from the paddocks across the vast green countryside of Portsdown Hill and beyond, is simply breathtaking.

On a very early and chilly autumn morning, I was privileged to see a family of deer feeding.

Plus I spied a couple of mean-looking buzzards and even a peregrine falcon.

Looking out across the fields, it made me feel comforted to know we still have such lovely green belt land in our area.
