Could Jermain follow Becky and make it to number one?

Have your say

I had a very interesting guest on my show yesterday as we broadcast live from Waterlooville for our Mission Christmas toy appeal – The Voice winner Jermain Jackman.

The 19-year-old won the BBC talent show back in April with help from mentor and judge Will-i-am.

With an incredible voice, he felt his chances of making it in the industry were higher than if he won The X Factor or Britain’s Got Talent. The beauty of The Voice is that looks or age are irrelevant.

Jermain certainly has talent, but he has his work cut out. No contestant has yet become a household name, although previous winner Becky Hill went to No 1 this summer.

Could Jermain follow suit?
