Don’t children say the funniest things sometimes?
The Mrs was making the kids’ breakfast and they were talking about what they were going to be doing at school that day.
There was the usual talk of lessons, PE kits and what was going to be in their lunchboxes.
But then one of my daughters looked up and said in all innocence, with a deadpan face, that she needed an ‘Ebola’ gift.
What on earth did she mean?
She then went on to say that all the pupils had to take in something for the ‘Ebola’ stall at the school Christmas fete.
Suddenly it all became a lot clearer.
What she meant was the tombola stall!
