Dining costs so much that we need the odd feeding frenzy

COMMENT: Funding PTSD programme could end up saving money

Have your say

As a massive fan of the all-you-can-eat buffet concept, I was outraged to hear about the two blokes who’d been thrown out of a Brighton restaurant for eating too much.

I wasn’t upset for them, you understand. To be honest, they sound like they got what they deserved – but not because they re-stocked their plates too many times.

Anyone who has such a lack of imagination that they dine out at the same place twice a week for two years deserves what’s coming.

It was more the fact that the story prompted so many others to get on their high horses and condemn these kinds of places that upset me.

Restaurants are grossly over-priced, so don’t judge those of us who welcome the opportunity to fill our faces more than once a night.
