Have your say

You know how sometimes you see a film that’s so good you simply have to tell other people to go and watch it?

Well, Pitch Perfect is one of those films.

It’s about a capella groups at a university in America and includes the traditional life-affirming stories, along with lots of music mixes – all a capella.

And of course there’s the funny fat girl, and the lesbian, and the love story and it’s all very cliché, but so well done you will forgive yourself.

If your only memory of such music is The Flying Pickets, do put all that ‘looking from a window above’ stuff firmly to bed, and get yourself into the a ca-present.

It also means that you’ll be among the first to understand the term pitch-slapped.
