Forget X Factor and Strictly, bring on Top of the Pops

COMMENT: All agencies must to held to account for Anne Savidge’s tragic death

Have your say

The working class X Factor comes to an end and the wonderfully middle class Strictly Come Dancing also has its grand finale this weekend.

This year Strictly is an all-female affair with a WAG, a wannabe and a has-been in the final.

Sir Bruce has had us on the edge of our seats each week as he starts off one of his jokes.

We’ve had time to go and make a cuppa before the punchline.

Now all this nonsense is almost out of the way, I say bring on the proper Christmas telly, including the long-awaited return of Top of the Pops.

But sadly it won’t be hosted by Peter Powell and Bruno Brookes.
