From dolphins and dingos to manta rays and rainforest

STEVE CANAVAN: My condition is a right old pain in the neck

Have your say

We’ve recently travelled down from the Fraser Coast where we spent a few days exploring the beautiful region of Hervey Bay.

We also took a trip over to the famous Fraser Island, which has a population of wild dingos.

We did everything from go on a sunset cruise, where we saw some dolphins, to exploring the rainforest and the local ecosystem.

From there we went on a flight in a small propeller plane to Lady Elliott Island.

This tiny, wild island is where you go to snorkel and relax. We did both in equal measures.

I have to confess I almost wet myself with excitement when I saw a manta ray and turtle in the sea. It was that amazing.

What a lovely image to leave you with!
