So Daedealus has got a new label – that of an Enterprise Zone. Doesn’t that sound grand?
I’m not sure what it will really mean to us near-by residents, who are busily sharing half a job between us.
But I hope that the tax breaks and associated perks will have the desired effect of bringing more businesses to the area.
There’s lots of talk about developing the air side of things and manufacturing.
However, I wonder whether it’s also time to look at our natural assets and create something out of the kite surfing phenomenon that is currently sweeping our shoreline?
It’s hard to ignore all those buffed bods.
Should we be looking at what we can use our assets for to bring more in?
