How on earth did they get a lit torch through security?

Have your say

Anybody going abroad recently would have noticed that it’s getting harder and harder to get through all the security before boarding a plane.

You need to arrive at the airport ages before your flight, then queue for hours on end as your luggage is inspected.

Bit by bit it’s taken away. So then you’re without toothpaste, hair gel, contact lens solution, lipstick, mascara and deodorant.

You then have to remove your belt and now, because of shoe bombers, your shoes. And what now someone’s been caught stuffing a bomb down his pants?

With all this security, I wonder how on earth they got the Olympic torch (which has to remain lit at all times) on a plane from Greece into England?
