Staying on the festive theme, I’m hoping that some of you may have seen a vast crowd of Santas congregating down on Southsea seafront yesterday.
Almost 1,000 people had signed up to take part in the Santa 5km and 10km ‘fun runs’ ahead of Sunday’s event, which aimed to raise lots and lots of money for the RNLI.
I hope if you were there that you gave them a cheer, because running in this weather is not the most enjoyable experience ever.
Especially when your Santa suit keeps wanting to fall off because it’s so big.
I should know – you see, I was one of the 10km runners required to wear such a Santa suit.
As I write this, I’m hoping against hope that said suit behaves itself.
