I had countless friends desperate to avoid hearing what happened at the end of Breaking Bad, a hit US drama which aired for the last time in America, but has not yet been shown over here.

People get annoyed at reading how Mr Darcy died before buying the next Bridget Jones book.

Then there are EastEnders plot spoilers, or hearing the football scores before Match of the Day.

These are all things people hate. Except me. You see, I’ve discovered I don’t like surprises.

I’m quite happy watching something knowing how it will turn out.

So if someone knows how Downton Abbey finishes this season, can you please tell me!
