There’s a charity event taking place next Saturday – July 26 – and it sounds like an amazing family day out, one I will certainly be attending.
It’s a charity cycle ride that kicks off at the Harvest Home pub at Hambledon and a bunch of fundraisers are riding up to 35 miles from Hambledon, Soberton and Brockbridge to raise funds for Hannah’s Holiday Home Appeal and Myloma UK. And what a beautiful ride it is. I’d have loved to have done it. Perhaps next year?
At the pub, there will be entertainment with DJs, live bands and musicians, plus loads of cool things for children small and large, such as a vintage fire engine, motorcycles and a jewellery stall. There are prizes to be won in a charity auction and it looks like a fab day out.
