If I was to escape it would be to sunny Spain, not Scotland

Child refugees: more cash is needed from the government

COMMENT: Government needs to dig deep to find extra cash

Have your say

My favourite story of the week was about Lisa Chamberlain from Stamshaw and her missing cat Gypsy.

The RSPCA in Scotland phoned to say her cat had turned up – in Motherwell.

Unable to get to Scotland, Lisa contacted Wave 105 on Saturday and our intrepid reporter Michael Coombes told her story.

The switchboard went barmy with listeners willing to help and in the end Gypsy was couriered home!

It’s the second time in a week that a moggy from the south has ended up in Scotland.

I wonder why? I can think of warmer places to escape to. For me, it would definitely be a ferry bound for sunny Spain.
