English MPs can’t vote on matters in Scotland. So I feel that now, after the referendum, it is only right that Scottish MPs should not have a say on decisions being made in England.
But with the risk of Labour losing the power of 40 MP votes out of their total of 256, you can see why Ed Miliband is trying to put the brakes on things.
He would certainly have to cosy up to the likes of UKiP and the Green Party in the future.
Personally, I think he’d rather be left on a desert island with his brother than do that.
One thing I do know is that the public’s interest in politics has been rekindled and next year’s General Election will be fascinating.
