Have your say

Do you ‘mwah mwah’ air kiss, high five or just shake hands?

There’s been a bit of a hullaballoo about Team GB at the forthcoming Olympics being warned about catching germs from shaking hands with other athletes.

Now the fuss has died down, the sensible conclusion is more hand washing and hand gel.

But it’s a germy jungle out there and pesky bugs get everywhere.

Years ago I taught Salsa dancing in Southsea. When in the ladies’ loo, if I saw a female not wash her puddies I made a mental note.

Then, when teaching I’d hold her wrist, not her hand.

If she commented on it, I’d say: ‘Sorry darling, germs. You didn’t wash your hands after you tinkled.’

As for the men? Well, as I don’t make a habit of going in the gents, you just never know with them do you?
