We’ve had Neknominations, where people are challenged to consume different alcoholic drinks within a 24-hour period and then post the results on Facebook.
Now we have ‘no make-up selfies’, where women post pictures of themselves on Facebook wearing no make-up in an attempt to raise awareness of breast cancer.
This is fine and a worthy cause, but the pictures are always followed by sycophantic comments such as ‘beautiful picture hun’, ‘amazing’, ‘so natural’ blah bah blah.
Why all the lies, ladies? Can’t you just be honest with your friends?
Not all the pictures are particularly flattering.
But I’ve not seen anyone say ‘you look dog rough without make-up love.’
