Royal mum-to-be Kate Middleton seems to be handling her pregnancy with all the style you would expect of a modern woman.
Apparently she has developed a liking for lavender shortbread, taken up yoga and is maintaining style icon status by shunning traditional maternity frocks and donning high heels which would have got a thumbs-up from Princess Margaret.
Until now pregnant Royals wore billowing ‘big’ frocks, flowing and comfortable if not flattering. The Queen, in the late stages of her pregnancies, was barely talked about and hardly seen, whilst Royal rebel Princess Anne was one of the first to be photographed heavily pregnant and just had her dresses altered according to the size of her bump.
The tums are a changing.
