Jason Bonham has said that he is disappointed Led Zeppelin did not capitalise on the success of their one-off reunion concert by regrouping for a new studio album. The drummer sat in for his late father, John, when the three living members of the legendary hard rock band held a tribute gig in honour of music executive Ahmet Ertegün at London’s O2 Arena in 2007. Foo Fighters have been confirmed for an appearance at this year’s MTV Movie Awards next month. The band will perform new single Walk, taken from their recently released seventh studio album, Wasting Light.
Prince has been announced as the final headline act for this year’s Hop Farm Music Festival. The reorganised three-day event will take place at Paddock Wood, Kent, between July 1 and 3, and will include previously-confirmed headline acts Morrissey and The Eagles.
Each member of The Killers will play a solo song during their set at Hard Rock Calling this summer. The band are headlining the festival next month in their first show in Europe since they went on hiatus in January 2010. They will reportedly use the opportunity to showcase material they have been working on by themselves.
