NEWS COMMENT: A move in the right direction but still not a win for all

Have your say

Apparently one in six women have bought an item of clothing, worn it once, then taken it back to the shop for a refund.

It’s incredibly cheeky, but it’s a great way of saving money and I have to admit I have done this once myself.

It was while I was at university and we were holding an Alice In Wonderland themed birthday party for a friend.

It was fancy dress and I’d been given The Caterpillar to dress up as.

How do you dress as a caterpillar? Well you go to Primark, buy a blue layered maxi dress and wear it for one evening, keeping the labels on of course.

Then you take it back again. Simple. I didn’t actually like the dress, plus I was a poor student. Okay, I’m sorry and I won’t do it again!
