So I hear the latest plan for dogs is to have them all microchipped when they’re puppies.
Apparently this genius move will mean it’ll be easier to identify dangerous dogs and their owners.
What a pointless exercise. The whole premise of micro-chipping relies on owners updating their details every time they move.
If you were a dangerous dog owner, would you bother to do that?
Or would you simply give a false address?
It’d make a lot more sense if all dog owners were microchipped, matching the dog with the owner.
But I can’t see anyone going for that process either. Certainly not me.
And who is going to be there policing every puppy being born?
