Have your say

If asked which is my favourite city out of Paris or Rome, I would have to plump for Rome.

It was my first time there this summer. I’ve stayed in Paris many times before, but Rome took my breath away.

Its architectural history is, of course, amazing.

But more than that the heat, the friendliness of the people, the restaurants (who couldn’t love a city full of pizza and pasta?) and the overall ambience appealed to me.

Plus, the Metro costs just 1.5 Euros for 100 minutes of use, which is a complete bargain if you ask me.

It certainly is when compared to Paris, which is also stunning but suffers from the chills, is insanely expensive and always appears to be closed, even when it’s not.
