The Great South Run is almost here; one of the UK’s most prestigious sporting events on our doorstep.
Once again the eyes of the Great British public will be ogling runners making their way through our streets.
I’m running for Footprints, the Portsmouth Down Syndrome Association, and you/they will be pleased to know that my training has been pathetic.
I started an exercise programme back in August that lasted for two days, then managed another run in September and I’ve just relocated my trainers.
I’ll get to the finish – but if you drive through Southsea on the Monday morning after the run, I apologise now for holding up the traffic.
