No more Xs for clothes

COMMENT: Bandstand event is a victim of its own success

Have your say

Debenhams has just released a new mega size of XXXXXL clothing to cope with demand because of our increasing girths.

Which has got me thinking surely there has to be a limit on the number of Xs you can use?

After five you should use another letter.

Here’s why. Imagine how embarrassing it’s going to be if you have to go say: ‘Have you got any X X X X X X X X X L tops in stock?

I reckon they should switch to using the letter O, mainly because it’s the nice round shape of the people who need the clothing.

Then rather than just adding extra Os, you just make the O a bit bigger and wider, like the person ordering the clothes.
