No other actress could ever play that role quite like Julia

Surely, holding a door open for a member of either sex is just good manners?

LESLEY KEATING: Would you dare hold a door open for a woman?

Have your say

According to reports in the US, Julia Roberts has said she would turn down the chance of reprising her most famous role as Vivian Ward in the hit movie Pretty Woman if movie bosses decide to make a sequel.

Julia played the role of a kind-hearted prostitute with big dreams who falls in love with a wealthy businessman, played by Richard Gere.

It seems Julia said she was too old to play such a role now.

But I think perhaps she’s missing the point – there is simply no other actress that could play the role quite like Julia.

Not that I think they should make a sequel. Personally, I reckon it would be a terrible idea.
