Have your say

It’s great seeing the price of fuel drop dramatically at the pumps.

But I have to agree with the politicians who are now asking public transport providers to pass on the benefits of cheaper fuel in the form of reduced ticket prices.

Like the energy companies, operators are quick to raise prices and put the blame on fuel charges.

Now the cost of fuel is going down, they should drop their charges because we all know they’re making bigger profits.

With the amount of subsidy from government, I’m sure bus and train operators will eventually have to act.

But as the first of the energy companies lowers bills, they really don’t have any excuses.
