Blur are to headline a show in London’s Hyde Park to celebrate the end of the Olympic Games later this year.

One thing worries me about this. If the tickets for this gig are handled by the same people doing the ticketing for the Olympic events, then I bet half of us are going to end up with tickets to see Pulp, or Coldplay, or any number of other bands that we don’t want to watch.

Lawyers representing Justin Bieber have threatened to sue the makers of a cell phone game which allegedly parodies the teen star. The Baby hitmaker’s attorneys have sent a ‘cease and desist’ letter to bosses at a company called RC3 over an application named Joustin’ Beaver, which features a beaver sporting a Bieber-style haircut and fending away ‘photo-hogs’.

Gary Barlow will travel to Commonwealth countries around the world to find inspiration for a song he has been commissioned to write in honour of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

There are rumours celebrities like Peter Andre could appear on a charity celebrity version TV dating show Take Me Out. Peter Andre? I’ve been hoping someone would take him out for years!
