Porsches are as common as Fords, but I loved the Zonda

COMMENT: Losing these highly-skilled workers is a major concern

Have your say

I never thought I’d see the day when spotting a Porsche wasn’t exciting. But they’re as common as a Ford Focus here in Cannes.

The real treat came in Monaco. Ferraris, Bentleys, Rollers, Lamborghinis and Mercedes-McLaren SLRs.

But the car getting all the attention was a bonkers British-registered Pagani Zonda.

The styling is just crazy. Carbon fibre body, mad spoilers, a bizarre cockpit and the most unique exhaust ever!

I was fascinated to know who owned the Zonda and how they had made enough cash to be able to afford one.

Thankfully all the Premier League footballers are back in training, so I can rule out Frank Lampard and Christine Bleakley. What a relief!
