Books have always been a passion of mine and I love nothing better than curling up on the sofa on a rainy day with a good autobiography.

It could be about a great actor, or someone inspiring like Maya Angelou.

Currently residing on my bedside table is the late Lynda Bellingham’s riveting read I’ve Been Dying To Tell You.

It’s a searingly honest, unflinching account of her approach to terminal illness.

Yet it’s also an uplifting memoir told with her irrepressible humour.

To me, Lynda will always be the lovely Oxo ad mum.

We all knew that we were going to lose her, but hoped her wish of a last Christmas with her loved ones would be granted.

Sadly it wasn’t to be. RIP Lynda, a brave lady.
