The term ‘celebrity’ is so loose these days and this was confirmed with the introduction of X Factor reject Jake Quickenden along with ex-MP Edwina Currie into the I’m A Celebrity jungle.
I don’t mean to be rude, but exactly how does Jake qualify as a ‘celebrity’?
He’s just been chucked off a reality TV show – how on earth does that mean he’s a celeb?
Granted, he’s good to look at and does come across as a lovely person.
But if I were him, I’d be super embarrassed about classing myself as a ‘celebrity’ on a show that does actually feature some real celebrities.
Still, at least he’ll get a nice cheque and some exposure out of it. Which is why they all go on I’m A Celebrity.
