Test failures will make me a better driver, won’t they?

Royal Marines and sailors from HMS Bulwark Royal Marines squadron gathered on Eastney Beachin June 2016 for a poignant commemoration of the loss of landing craft during the 1982 Falklands Conflict

LETTER OF THE DAY: Hole in our armed forces budget needs closing

Have your say

I’m still pursuing the dream of passing my driving test and having my own passion wagon.

Seriously, although it’s been a great deal harder than I thought it was going to be, I wish I had had the courage to do it years ago.

I am on my third attempt now and it’s been the most annoying things that have failed me.

Each time it has been something different, although I admit nearly swerving over to the wrong side of the road on a roundabout was pretty bad.

But I will get to the finish line because this gal ain’t no quitter.

When not under pressure I’m fine.

But I’m trying to not be too disheartened. Hopefully it will make me a better driver in the end.
