They say there’s no such thing as bad publicity, but I wonder if Harry Redknapp agrees.

The former Pompey manager was on Twitter last week answering questions – he thought – from QPR fans.

But hot on the heels of British Gas’s own Twitter Q&A crisis, Harry Redknapp faced his own online mauling.

Fans from various clubs poked fun at him for setting up a bank account using his dog’s name.

And famed for his defection to Southampton and subsequent return to Pompey, plus a string of expensive signings which Sacha Gaydamak stopped being able to afford, was it any wonder this question came up (from Tweeter and Saints fan @TomN_7): ‘Who did the most damage to the south coast? You or the Luftwaffe?’ Ouch!
