Watching boxed set meant I didn’t have to wait a week

Have your say

I finally watched Broadchurch as a DVD boxed set at the weekend.

This was the series in which David Tennant and Olivia Coleman investigated the murder of an 11-year-old boy.

I missed it when it was on the telly, even though practically everyone I knew mentioned it on Facebook, saying how great they thought it was.

And yes, I agree it was great, not least because of the acting, the characterisation and the stunning setting of West Bay (on the Jurassic Coast), just a few miles past Weymouth.

But you know what? I’m glad that I missed it on the box.

Because it would have frustrated the heck out of me to have to wait a week for each episode.
