His latest single’s got lyrics that make no sense, an irritating, repetitive chorus and a distinctly cheesy backing track.

But even with no airplay on Radio 1, Robbie Williams clearly still has it.

He’s been at No 1 for two weeks and the announcement of a 17-date stadium tour next year has got people scrabbling for tickets.

Robbie has very loyal fans. They’ve been with him through thick and thin, his personal highs and lows.

He’s the bad boy with the baby face. But as with Take That before, I bet many men will be making a trip to see him perform.

And when Let Me Entertain You or Strong are played, we’ll be singing along.
