We have to learn to leave the foxes to fend for themselves

It’s important the parade continues – but safely

Have your say

Another urban fox, another baby hurt.

This is terrible for the family, obviously, but we should all take some responsibility for what is happening in our town and city landscapes.

A fox wandered into my sitting room, through the patio doors, a few years ago and stood there watching TV with us until I finally realised we didn’t have a dog.

Yet even with this worrying level of fox confidence, some people feed foxes regularly and even encourage them to make their dens under garden sheds.

Apparently, the British have a bit of an international reputation for being fox lovers.

Well let’s stop it now. Leave the foxes to fend for themselves (and eat the rodents), before it’s too late.
