Wedding organising starts - and I get to eat some cake

COMMENT: University has to prove it offers value for money

Have your say

I’m super-excited because tomorrow Matt and I are going to visit Final Touch Cakes in Alresford, where our wedding cake is going to be made.

The big day is exactly a year away, but I know time will just fly so I’m determined not to leave all the preparations until the very last minute.

We’re getting married at St Mary’s Church in Fratton and having the reception at Southend Barns in Chichester – so the fact that our wedding cake designer is in Alresford makes it all the more special to me.

I’m determined to source everything as locally as possible – well, within Hampshire and West Sussex.

I can’t wait to start the organising with a trip to Alresford – plus I get to spend my Saturday eating cake!
