Why should my daughter end up wearing old granny shoes?

LESLEY KEATING: A white-knuckle pursuit ending with a lesson in trust

Have your say

Shame on Marks and Spencer for its shoe sizing.

I was outraged to discover that the girls’ shoes only go up to a size six in the Hedge End store.

How’s that for telling tall girls that they are no longer young?

Just because a child reaches a certain height and a certain size of feet does not mean that they should be limited to buying old granny shoes at twice (if not three) times the price.

I suspect that it might be because many women are size seven and might come shopping for cheaper and much more fun versions of footwear.

But imagine how all those girls must feel when they’re told that their feet are too big for fashion?
