COMMENT: Funding PTSD programme could end up saving money

Have your say

I’m very proud of my cousin, Alex Burrows. He’s only recently returned from spending a couple of months in Ghana on a volunteer programme and next month he heads off again – this time for three months.

Honestly, we’re going to miss him so much.

Before he goes and as a kind of charity fundraising leaving do, he’s organised an evening at The Brickmakers pub in Swanmore on May 25.

He’s raising cash for United Through Sport Ghana and for £10 you can get a chilli, a drink and entry into a raffle with a percentage of the money going to buy school and sports equipment plus funding for teachers.

If you’ve got nothing planned and fancy a great night out for a good cause, I can guarantee you we’ll give you one heck of a night!
