Have your say

I called to speak to my mum the other day and she was busy nattering to a friend about knitting.

Turns out that the lady in question, Pam Millard, had been busy with the knitting needles – for hens.

Yep, apparently it’s all part of an initiative from an organisation called Little Hen Rescue to help battery hens who have plucked all their feathers out in distress.

When they’re rescued, they are given knitted coats to keep them warm. I’m not making this up.

If you go on the website, you can actually see the hens where you can actually see the hens in all their warm glory.

It made me so happy to see. They’re lovely creatures – and now they’re warm creatures too.

Well done Pammy!
